Roseville ADU rules

Roseville caps ADUs at 850 sq ft for a studio or one-bedroom and 1,000 sq ft for more than one bedroom, with a 16 ft height limit for detached units and up to 25 ft when attached. The city publishes preapproved ADU plans under AB 1332 and has a separate ADU fee policy. Many newer neighborhoods have HOAs, but state law bars them from prohibiting ADUs.
